We require all tour members to show proof that they are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 before they can join any of our tours. General health regulations may differ from country to country and even region to region. We will provide you with the most up-to-date regulations for the countries we will be visiting on your tour but it is each traveller’s own responsibility to ensure that you personally meet international travel requirements and local government regulations—including vaccination, testing, and quarantine procedures—prior to departure.

Please note that you are not considered booked until your online tour Booking Form and $400/person non-refundable tour deposit have been received by Royal Heights Tours.
Royal Heights Tours collects personal information for health, safety, and regulatory reasons. Information is collected from our travellers via a secure online booking form. We do not share this information (except when required to secure your reservations in the host country.)
Based on the location of your trip, your passport must be valid between 3 and 6 months beyond the date of departure and contain blank pages for the country Visa to be stamped into the passport. Please see specific itineraries for exact details.
Our LAND tours begin and end in the countries the tours are operating in. We do not include international flights as part of the LAND tour cost – except where specifically detailed in the itinerary. We can put you in touch with our flights specialist who can book flights for you from your home city. At the time of completing your booking form and paying your tour deposit please, let us know if you would like us to book flights for you. Alternatively, you can book your own flights or use your accumulated Frequent Flyer points.
The Land portion of the tour must be booked directly with Royal Heights Tours.
As we are a Canadian company, all prices quoted and payments accepted are in Canadian dollars. You can secure your place on the tour with a $400/person non-refundable deposit. We take payment for the deposit by Visa or Mastercard – which you can pay online through our Booking Form.
We will e-mail you your Invoice for the balance of the Land tour 3 months prior to the tour departure date, this invoice will include the Single Supplement (if requested) and optional land tours or requested extra hotel nights. Payment for the final balance will be due 2 months prior to the tour departure date.
The LAND TOUR price quoted is for FINAL PAYMENT by cheque. Should you wish to pay the outstanding amount for the LAND TOUR by credit card there will be an administration fee of 1.5% on the outstanding amount.
Online Booking Form
Please click on any tour detailed itinerary, at the top of the itinerary page you will see a “BOOK NOW” button. When you click on the button, you will add the “$400 non- refundable tour deposit/person” to your basket. Please note the “cart” will show the amount owing for the “Land tour” ( NOT including any “extras”). “Proceed to check out” button will take you to the tour booking page where we collect the information we need to secure your place on the tour.
Please let us know your passport details, if you would like to share, have a room to yourself, who we should contact in an emergency, if you need cancellation/interruption or medical insurance ( you can book a policy directly on the Manulife link). Pay your $400 Non- refundable tour deposit with your credit card on this page too. Please read our “Terms & Conditions” carefully and call us if you have any questions.
We want each and every one of our travellers to have the experience of a lifetime—whether that’s as a couple, with a friend or travelling solo. Our Land tour price is based on 2 people sharing a room. If you wish to be guaranteed a single room, there is a Single Supplement charge listed on each detailed itinerary. If you would like to share, we will do our best to find you a roommate. The EARLIER you pay your deposit, the more likely we are to be able to find you a roommate. Those people traveling alone but wishing to share will be informed 3 months prior to departure if a roommate is not currently available. At that point, you will be invoiced for the Single Supplement. If a roommate subsequently joins the tour, your Single Supplement will be refunded prior to departure.
No one expects to have a medical emergency away from home or to have to cancel or cut short a trip due to an accident. However, these unexpected events happen and they can be disruptive and expensive – so it’s critical to have travel insurance which protects you against being forced to cancel prior to or during travel due to unforeseen circumstances . We strongly recommend comprehensive insurance coverage that includes emergency medical, trip cancellation and interruption, accident, and baggage insurance.
Travel Insurance should be purchased at time of paying your Non- Refundable $400 Tour Deposit/person
In the event of a traveller being unable to continue once your tour has started, all hospital and medical expenses are the traveller’s responsibility, you will not be entitled to any refund, either total or partial, of tour money paid to Royal Heights Tours.
We suggest Manulife World Travel Insurance. The following website can provide you with an insurance quote and allow you to purchase the policy that works best for you online directly through Manulife.
How Much Walking and Group Size
We keep our group sizes small so we are not lining up for everything, can enjoy dinners at more intimate restaurants and can be flexible in our sightseeing. Nearly all our tours are limited to a maximum of 16 travelers but our average group size is just 10.
You MUST be in good physical condition to join our tours. On most of our tours we enjoy extensive strolling through smaller towns where our bus cannot enter and exploring up and down archaeological sites, many of which are on hillsides. Many of our tours involve 2-3 hours of walking on uneven terrain (e.g. cobblestone streets.) Our guided tours of art galleries and museums can be 1-3 hours long. You must be able to climb stairs and manage your own suitcase, where necessary.
